Our company provides more than might be expected from an organization of our size. We spend a great deal of our resources on providing the most up-to-date computer systems and equipment to create great efficiencies in our work day.

Technology:

All web-based business is processed on:

• Terminal Services/Citrix Server has a 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processor, 2GB RAM and two 10K RPM 36GB hard drives configured with RAID1
• Proprietary web-based software using 128-bit VeriSign encryption
• Firewall-protected network attached to two dedicated T1 data lines

All other operations are processed using:

• Databases are run from a Dell PowerEdge server with dual 3.0 GHz Intel Xeon processors, 4GB RAM, six 15K RPM 73GB hard drives configured with RAID5, multiple gigabit network cards, and two redundant power supplies
• Primary file and print server has a 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processor, 2GB RAM, four 147GB hard drives, and redundant power supplies
• Terminal Services/Citrix Server has a 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processor, 2GB RAM and two 10K RPM 36GB hard drives configured with RAID1
• Back-up-to-disk (B2D) server has a 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processor, 1GB RAM, eight 10K RPM 146GB hard drives configured with RAID5, and an Overland Storage PowerLoader robotic tape library
• All servers connect to the network through a dedicated gigabit switch

Multiple redundant back-ups:

• On-site daily high speed tape
• Off-site full data base back-up
• Ongoing off-site web services replication

Accounting Staff:

We offer both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable services. We also provide Underwriter Accounting to our insurance companies.

Claims Management Systems:

Our Claims Department is set up to handle 1,000 new claims monthly and manages all aspects of the claims process using proprietary claims processing systems. We pay qualified claims within 7-10 days after receiving all pertinent information.

Policy Issue:

Our Administrative Staff issues over 40,000 insurance policies each month by using high-speed printers, folders, and mailing equipment.
