RENTERS FAQ
Why do I need renters insurance?
Your landlord is not responsible for reimbursing you for damage to
your personal belongings in the event of a disaster. You may think
the contents of your apartment aren’t worth much, but if all of it was
destroyed, could you afford to replace it?
Isn’t renters insurance expensive?
Think about it this way: starting around $15 a month – or around 50 cents a day – our Renters Insurance coverage costs less than a delivery pizza.
And Bader offers convenient payment methods: monthly, quarterly or
annually, with no fees for installment payments.
How do I enroll?
Bader offers two convenient methods of enrollment. You can sign up
at your leasing office, or you can enroll online by
clicking here. Either
way, the process is quick and easy, and acceptance is guaranteed.
When will my payment come out of my bank account/credit card?
The payment will be automatically withdrawn every month on the
effective date of your insurance (usually your move-in date). For
example, if your insurance began on July 10th, payments would be
withdrawn on the 10th of every month.
How do I report a claim?
Call the claims department at 888-202-2337 or
report your claim online.
How do I cancel my coverage?
You must send a letter to Bader with your name, address
and ID number. The letter must be signed and can be faxed to
866-362-2337. Your coverage is NOT portable to another property,
so if you move you MUST cancel your coverage with Bader.
